Toyota Material Handling Europe Introduces Four New Warehouse Trucks
Toyota Material Handling Europe has expanded its Optio and Tracto product ranges with four new electric warehouse trucks designed for order picking and horizontal material movement.
The Optio OSE100 and OSE100W order pickers have a rated load capacity of 1,000 kg and feature elevated operator platforms for picking at the second level. The OSE100 includes an initial fork lift to raise loads to a more ergonomic working height, while the OSE100W incorporates a walkthrough platform for handling bulkier items. Both use compact three-wheel designs intended to improve maneuverability in congested warehouse aisles.
The new Tracto TSE300 and TSE500 electric tow tractors offer towing capacities of 3.0 and 5.0 tonnes, respectively, with travel speeds reaching 12 km/h. Lithium-ion battery options support opportunity charging during operating shifts.
Toyota has also introduced improvements to operator access, vibration reduction, battery maintenance access and warning-light options.

Teradyne Robotics and Sereact Advance AI-Powered Warehouse Automation
Teradyne Robotics and German robotics software company Sereact have formed a partnership to expand the use of artificial intelligence in warehouse and manufacturing applications, including returns handling, piece picking and order preparation. The partnership combines Sereact’s Cortex physical AI platform with collaborative robot arms from Universal Robots, a Teradyne Robotics company.
The companies report that hundreds of Universal Robots units have already been shipped in dual-arm systems to customer facilities in Europe. One application involves the automated processing of returned fashion merchandise at Zalando fulfillment centers in Germany and Poland, in collaboration with CEVA Logistics. The system uses AI to identify and manipulate products that vary in shape, orientation and packaging.
The companies demonstrated the technology at NVIDIA GTC Berlin in October. Sereact has also established a U.S. headquarters in Boston to support expansion into North America.
