The RQ700, a 700 W battery high-performance charger, provides machine uptime benefits for battery-powered light e-mobility, industrial and commercial equipment.
Vancouver, BC – Delta-Q Technologies, a prominent provider of battery charging solutions, has announced the launch of the RQ700, an addition to its RQ Series of chargers specifically designed to meet the needs of light electric vehicles (LEVs), outdoor power equipment, and industrial pallet trucks. The RQ700, with its user-friendly design and compact size, aims to address the evolving requirements of OEM customers and their growing production volumes. It offers a cost-effective charging solution that can easily integrate onboard high-volume OEM applications.
The RQ Series, which already includes the RQ350, now includes the RQ700 with its impressive 700 W power output. It is available in 24, 36, and 48 VDC options and boasts exceptional power density, making it ideal for installations with limited space. Additionally, the charger features a 12 VDC, 400 mA auxiliary power supply that can operate system components. This enables the charger to wake up battery management systems (BMS), power telematics, and other components, ensuring the battery remains operational even after powering down. This flexibility and seamless integration with lithium batteries enhance safety and convenience.
The RQ700 comes with tested and validated installation cables, eliminating the need for customers to procure their own cables and saving them time, expense, and effort, particularly in high-volume applications. The charger incorporates the core features of the RQ Series, including resilience against automotive shock and vibration, full sealing with an IP67 rating to protect against water and dust ingress, and a microprocessor that ensures precise charging even at low states of charge.
It also supports Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS), allowing the use of standardized services and diagnostic tools. The charger is equipped with three built-in LEDs to indicate charging status, errors, and faults, along with a push button that enables the selection of charge algorithms in the field or on customers’ production lines.
The RQ700 high-performance charger is now available for sampling, and more information can be found at https://delta-q.com/our-products/rq-series/.
