This annual observance underscores the safe use of forklifts, the importance of operator training, and the need for daily equipment checks. The day is marked with various activities such as seminars, workshops, and parades that focus on the best safety practices. Participants include forklift manufacturers, dealers, end users, and safety trainers. The event has typically been celebrated on the second Tuesday of June each year.
